Mario has been a Director on the CANEGROWERS Burdekin Limited Board since 2007 and is currently Deputy Chair a position he has held commencing 2007.

Mario is one of the four representatives who attend Queensland Cane Growers Organisation (QCGO) meetings which are held every three months in Brisbane to represent local views.

Mario’s other duties include Chairman of the QCGO Irrigation Committee, QCGO nominee on the QFF Water Policy Committee, Chairman of Invicta Cane Growers Organisation Limited, Chairman of Burdekin River Irrigation Area Irrigatiors Committee and participating in negotiations for the Supply Contract with our miller.
