CANEGROWERS recently distributed its corporate DVD to over 500 primary schools and tourism centres throughout regional Queensland reports. The 7-minute DVD provides an overview of cane growing and includes footage of cane growing and milling operations. The low resolution version of the CANEGROWERS DVD cane be viewed here:
The DVD was finalised last year and was distributed broadly to international trading partners. It has also been incorporated as a key component of the information sessions CANEGROWERS delivers to the international trade delegations it hosts throughout the year.
CANEGROWERS has been inundated with requests for further copies of the DVD, so it has published it on YouTube – in both a smaller low resolution format and an larger high resolution format for people with larger bandwidth.
“The focus of the DVD was not only to show our sugarcane industry from paddock to plate, but importantly to show our international trading partners, our governments, our stakeholders and the Australian public that sustainability and best practice farming underpins sugarcane growing in Australia,” says the DVD’s Producer, Suzi Moore.
