Allan Dingle represents the Bundaberg district on the CANEGROWERS Queensland Policy Council. He is a Director on the QCGO board.

His 230 hectare irrigated farm has soybeans in rotation with sugarcane along with fodder crops.

Allan was appointed a Director of the Queensland Farmers Federation in 2014 and in 2019 was appointed President.
