Tools and knowledge to help build a more profitable business
CANEGROWERS Business Essentials is a two-day program designed to equip growers with the skills to run stronger, more resilient farm businesses.
Day one focuses on big-picture thinking—developing a clear business strategy and managing risk—culminating in a practical farm business plan.
Day two shifts to hands-on execution, covering Excel basics, farm finances, cost of production, and sugar pricing strategy. Supporting workshops deepen understandings of industry payments, bookkeeping, succession planning, and using AI for WH&S, giving participants practical tools that can be applied immediately.
