Across Queensland, CANEGROWERS districts are dusting off the history books and firing up the barbecues to mark a major milestone—100 years of CANEGROWERS. From the coast to the cane fields inland, every district will celebrate the centenary in its own way, with a rolling program of local events that reflect the people, places and proud grower spirit that built the organisation.
It’s not one party in one place, but a statewide celebration of advocacy, resilience and community and proof that after a century, CANEGROWERS is still firmly rooted in the paddock and focused on the future.

An informal open-air event where people can bring their chairs and sit outside and mingle while enjoying food, entertainment, presentations recognising those who have contributed to the local industry, and some historical equipment and displays.
